The UFI Membership is either individual or collective. The Union has 600 individual and 58 collective members at present.
Individual UFI member may be each specialist, with higher or secondary education, professionally related to the sector. Foreign citizens may also become members of the Union. Annual individual membership fee: BGN 10.
Collective UFI members may be state-owned, cooperative and private companies, organizations and branch unions, which support the UFI activities.
Annual collective membership fee: min BGN 100.
The UFI members shall be entitled:
- to attend with priority and to benefit lower participation fees for the activities of the Union;
- to get preferences and price discounts for the information, publications, etc., submitted or published by the Union;
- individual UFI members benefit 50% discount for subscription to “Food Processing Industry magazine”;
- to use, if necessary, the FNTS facilities under specified conditions.
